Remove the battery from the measuring device, if you
do not use it for a while (e.g., storage). Old batteries
can leak and damage the measuring device.
b) General
• Plug the measuring device into a wall socket.
• Connect the consumer whose power consumption is to be
measured to the socket at the front.
• Due to the batteries, the measured data are saved even when
the measuring device is disconnected from the mains socket.
This way, the display can be read easily.
If the display does not show anything, briefly press any button
to activate it. To save power and increase the battery life, the
display automatically switches off after about 15 seconds.
c) Entering an electricity tariff
• Hold the “T” button (4) pressed for 3 seconds to start the setup
mode. The first digit of the electricity tariff will flash.
• Set the value with the “W” button (1) or the “$” button (3).
• Confirm the setting, by pressing the “T” button (4). The next digit
will flash.
• Proceed in the same way until the first digit flashes again. You
can now adjust the entered value, if desired.
• To save the entered tariff, hold down the “T” button (4) for
3 seconds. The setup mode is then terminated.
