4. INTENDED USE
The product is used to measure and display the power consumption of electric devices. The
product is connected between the mains socket and the electric consumer and requires no
additional installation. Operation is only admissible when connected to a common mains
socket. The max. admissible power rating of the connected consumer must not be exceeded
(see chapter “Technical data”).
Two different electricity tariffs can be entered for cost calculation (e.g. for day/night-time
electricity).
Furthermore the CO
2
emission of your electricity tariff can be entered. The measuring device
can then show how much CO
2
was produced while the connected load was used (or how much
CO
2
production was prevented when using electricity from sustainable sourced compared to a
normal electricity tariff).
The saved data can also be shown independently of a mains socket since the measuring
device is supplied with electricity from the integrated rechargeable battery in this case (the
battery is firmly built in and cannot be replaced).
The measuring device is not officially calibrated and therefore must not be used for billing
purposes.
It may only be used in dry indoor locations. The product must not get damp or wet.
Please read the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. If you pass the
product on to a third party, please hand over these operating instructions as well. Observe all
safety instructions and information within this operating manual.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves
risks such as short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or
converted!
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements.
