Automatic deactivation switches off the device after approx. 20 minutes if it is not
operated. This saves battery power and thus extends the period of operation. Auto-
matic deactivation can be deactivated for continuous measurement.
The meter can be used for do-it-yourself or for professional applications up to
CAT III.
Key ring (4)
The individual measuring functions are selected via a key
ring. The automatic range selection “AUTO” is active in the
current measuring range. The respective matching measuring
range and the correct current type (AC/DC) will be set at all
times here.
The figure shows the measuring function layout.
Operating button (7)
The multimeter can be turned on and off using the middle button. In operation, a
brief push of a button switches the display lighting on and off again prematurely if
necessary. Always turn the measuring device off when it is not in use.

Low-pass filter for AC current measurement

Start-up current measurement for AC measuring range

Zero reconciliation for the direct current measuring range (A-DC only)
OL, -OL
Overflow display, the measuring area was exceeded
Battery level display. The bars indicate the battery status. When the
empty symbol flashes, the batteries must be replaced at once to
avoid measuring errors!
