13. Replacing the Fuse
Never operate the meter if the case is open. !DANGER TO LIFE!
1. Turn the function dial to the “OFF”
position.
2. Remove the test leads from the input
terminals.
3. Unscrew then remove the battery cover.
4. Unscrew the rear cover screws.
5. Replace the fuse with one that is of the
same type and specification. Refer to
the section “Technical data” for further
information.
6. Carefully replace the covers.

The DMM will not power up. Flat battery

Cannot measure changes

Is the wrong measuring function
activated (AC/DC)?
Check display (AC/DC) and switch the function
if required.
Are the incorrect leads used?
Check the terminal assignment or connection
of the probe leads.
Is the HOLD function activated? Deactivate the HOLD function.
No measurement possible
in the A measurement
range
Is the fuse of the A measuring
range defective?
Check the 10 A F2 fuse
No measurement possible
in the mA/µA measurement
range
Is the fuse of the mA/µA meas-
urement range defective?
Check the 0.6 A F1 fuse.
