At low currents, the conductor can be wound around
one side of the current clamp to increase the total
measured current. Divide the measured current by
the number of coils. You will then receive the correct
current value.
The slide switch of the clamp transformer also works as battery replace-
ment indicator. If the switch flashes in the “ON” position or does not light
up, the batteries must be replaced immediately, otherwise measurement
errors may occur.
