CONNECTION

Only the camera sensor (incl. mirror tube) must be submerged in de-energised liquids.

The camera sensor must not be submerged above the marking “IP67 max. water level”.

The socket area must always stay dry.

The camera sensor must only be used for inspection in de-energised equipment. The

camera sensor is made of metal and this may lead to short-circuits. For safety reasons,

de-energise all components prior to every inspection.

Avoid strong mechanical stress or vibrations.

1. Switch off the borescope.
2.  Connect the plug of the spiral connection cable (with metal nose) with the connection socket at the

borescope. The metal nose of the plug only fits into the socket on the correct side. Secure the plug con-

nection with the screw sleeve at the borescope turning clockwise direction.

Make sure the connection socket is aligned exactly with the pins of the connection plug. The metal

nose of the plug only fits into the socket on the correct side.

3. Repeat this step for the plug connection for the camera sensor and the spiral connection cable.
4. Switch the Endoscope on.
5. Proceed in reverse order to disconnect the camera sensor from the borescope.

Information about controlling the LED brightness can be found in the operating instructions of the

borescope.

USE OF THE 45°-MIRROR TUBE

1. Slide the 45°-mirror tube on the front of the camera sensor.
2. The 45°-mirror tube can be rotated by 365°.

CLEANING

To clean the camera lens, use a soft cloth or a cleaning swab.
To clean the camera sensor and the mirror tube, use a soft, damp cloth. Always tore the well-dried camera

sensor in the carrier bag provided to avoid damage.

DISPOSAL

Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong with household waste.

Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current statutory

requirements.

BORESCOPE CAMERA SENSOR BS-260XCT

ITEM NO. 1285871

INTENDED USE

This product can be used as camera attachment for the borescopes with replaceable borescope camera

sensors (labelled with “X” after the type number) of the Voltcraft BS-xx X and BS-xxx X for optical fault

finding or inspection of de-energised equipment and devices. The four LEDs integrated in the camera

head enable recordings or photos in totally dark areas. The brightness can be adjusted via the borescope

connected. The camera sensor is waterproof up to the marking (IP67) and perfectly suitable for use in

de-energised liquids (no acids or bases). The 45°-mirror tube allows inspection of border areas of 90° that

are difficult to reach. Use on humans and animals as well as in explosive areas is not permitted. The power

is supplied via the respective connected borescope.
For safety and approval reasons (CE), you may not convert and/or alter the product. If you use the product

for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. Furthermore, improper use
