14. FUSE REPLACEMENT IN THE 12 V CHARGING CABLE
In the 12 V charging cable‘s cigarette lighter plug (13), a fine fuse is integrated. It can be replaced very easily by
turning out the knurled wheel at the tip of the cigarette lighter plug.
As a replacement fuse, a fast-acting fuse type 6.3 x 32 mm, 250 V, 2 A, is required.
Never bridge a defective fuse and never use any other fuse than the one indicated above.
15. CLEANING
The product must be switched off before cleaning. Clean the outside of the product with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions. They may damage the surface of the casing
(discolorations).
16. DISPOSAL
a) General Information
The product does not belong in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Disposing of them in household waste is prohibited!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries that contain any hazardous substances are labelled with the adjacent
icon to indicate that disposal in domestic waste is forbidden. The descriptions for the respective heavy
metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (the names are indicated on the battery/rechargeable
battery e.g. below the rubbish bin symbol shown to the left).
You may return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official collection points in your communi

ty, in our stores, or wherever batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
