Class A
equipment is defined as:

Balanced three-phase equipment
•
Household appliances excluding equipment defined to be Class D
•
Tools excluding portable tools
•
Dimmers for incandescent lamps
•
Audio equipment
•
Equipment not specified in one of the three other classes
Class B
equipment is defined as:

Portable tools
Class C
equipment is defined as:

Lighting equipment
Class D
equipment is defined as:
Equipment having a specified power less than or equal to 600W, of the
following types:

Personal computers and personal computer monitors;
