If all the markers are blue, then the waveform meets the specified
requirements. A red marker indicates that the waveform does not meet
those requirements.
The markers can be repositioned by dragging them with the mouse if
required.
Select 'Calculate' to recalculate the marker positions from the original data.
Select 'Reset' to reset the markers to their last saved position.
IEC61000-3-2 2001 Minimum Power
This is the power level specified by the standard, below which no limits
apply. (Except for lighting equipment. When Class C is selected this field
is inactive).
IEC61000-3-2 2001 Specified Power
The power of the equipment under test as specified by the 'manufacturer'.
The specified power is used to calculate limits for Class D and some Class
C tests. This field is inactive when Class A or Class B is selected.
The power must be determined using the methods detailed below. If the
power is unknown, it will be measured by the analyzer and this value can
be entered retrospectively at the end of the tests and the limits re-computed
accordingly.
(from 6.2.2 of the standard…..)
The value of input power to be used for calculation of limits shall be
determined as follows:
•
measure the 1.5s smoothed active input power in each DFT time
window;
•
determine the maximum of the measured values of power from the
DFT time windows over the entire duration of the test.
