The power factor is defined to be the ratio of volt-amperes to watts
obtained from the same DFT measurement window as the value for the
fundamental component of current.
If the power factor is unknown, it will be measured by the analyzer and this
value can be entered retrospectively at the end of the tests and the limits re-
computed accordingly.
POHC
Partial odd harmonic current is the total rms value of the odd harmonic
components of orders 21 to 39. POHC is used during the application of
limits.
THC
Total harmonic current is the total rms value of the harmonic components
of orders 2 to 40.
Although the measurement of THC is not specifically required by the
standard, the standard requires that 'emission tests shall be conducted with
the user's operation controls or automatic programs set to the mode
expected to produce the maximum THC.' Maximum THC may also be used
to determine the observation period for 'Long Cyclic' equipment.
