Particles will also be kept out to a certain extent.
Therefore the grills should be cleaned regularly.

The cooling system is filled with Volvo Coolant
VCS, which is in accordance with the highest
requirements regarding anti-freeze, anti-corrosion
and anti-cavitation properties. To avoid damage to
the engine, is it very important that Volvo Coolant
VCS is used when topping up or when changing
coolant.
Volvo Coolant VCS is yellow and a decal by the fill
point shows that the system is filled with this coolant
(see picture).
