Length Test

 

 

The length test function measures the length of a cable by measuring its capacitance, 
it is supported in one-end test mode. The capacitance per unit length can be adjusted. 
When testing an unterminated cable it is possible to use the RJ45 to Alligator clip cable, 
and set the pair to

EasyCheck 900 automatically runs a new test every

For cables of unknown capacitance per unit length, a cable of known length of the 
same type may be used as a reference. The Unit value may then be adjusted to give 
the correct result on the reference cable before performing a test on the cable to be 
measured. To improve the accuracy of your reference setting, it is better to use a 
reference cable greater than 20 meters.
