3. ASSEMBLY
Always mount the device with the supplied
accessories.
Do not overtighten any of the locking or
adjustment knobs. This will result in indue
stress to the fitting.
Always secure the stand with the safety pin
(5).
Before starting the installation, take the following
into consideration:
• Place the device on a firm, level surface.
• The device must be mounted so that there is 50
cm of free space between the heater and any
ceiling, tent canvas etc. The device may never
be hung at an angle!
• Ensure that the power supply cable is well
mounted and that it does not come into contact
with reflector of the heater or that does not trail
into heated area.
• Do not install the heater near an inflammable
surface.
• If the heater is to be used outside, a weatherp-
roof outlet is highly recommended.
Setting up the stand (Fig. A)
1. Loosen the leg adjustment knob (7).
2. Spread legs (8) apart to max. base width.
Extend until the braces (10) are in a horizontal
position, as shown on figure A. This ensures
maximum stability and loading capacity.
3. Tighten the leg adjustment knob (7).
4. Loosen the upper pole locking knob (4) and
remove the safety pin (5).
5. Lift the upper pole (3) to the desired height. Put
the safety pin (5) in the corresponding hole (in
the upper pole) of the selected height.
6. Now tighten the upper pole locking knob (4).
Collapsing the stand (fig. A, E)
Pay attention to possible hazards (squee-
zing, hurting) by collapsing
1. Whilst holding the upper pole (3), loosen the
upper pole locking knob (4) and remove the
safety pin (5).
2. Lower the upper pole (3).
3. Loosen the leg adjustment knob (7).
4. Fold in legs (8) to fully collapsed position, as
shown on figure E.
Assembling the heater onto the stand
(Fig. A, B, C, D)
1. Using the screws (11), mount the 2 mounting
brackets (1) onto the holes of the heater, as
shown on figure B.
2.
Put the heater with the assembled brackets on
the top of the heater stand, as shown on figure C.
3. Whilst holding the heater, assemble and tighten
the angle adjustment knob (2) as shown on
figure C.
4. Figure D shows a correctly assembled mounting
bracket assembly.
4. OPERATION
Do not overtighten any of the locking or
adjustment knobs. This will result in indue
stress to the fitting.
Always secure the stand with the safety pin
(5).
Adjusting the height with assembled heater (Fig. A)
Note: for optimal safety, this may be performed by
two persons.
1. Whilst holding the heater, loosen the upper pole
locking knob (4) and remove the safety pin (5).
2. Move the upper pole (3) to the desired height.
Put the safety pin (5) in the corresponding hole
(in the upper pole) of the selected height.
3. Now release the heater and tighten the upper
pole locking knob (4).
5. MAINTENANCE
Handle the stand with care. Inspect bolted assem-
blies regularly. Maintain only in unloaded mode.
