Vorderradbremse
Zur Sicherstellung optimaler Brems-
wirkung und maximaler Zuverläs-
sigkeit ist die serienmäßig vorn und
hinten mit Scheibenbremsen mit
getrennten Bremskreisen und sepa-
raten Bremsflüssigkeitsbehältern aus-
gestattet. Obwohl bekannterweise
relativ wartungsarm erfordern jedoch
auch Scheibenbremsen daß Brems-
flüssigkeitsstand und Belagdicken
regelmäßig kontrolliert werden.
1. Den Bremsflüssigkeitsvorrat am
Schauglas "A" (Abb.28) am Brems-
hebel kontrollieren und ggf. Brems-
flüssigkeit gem. DOT 4 oder 5 .
2. Zum Aus-/Einbau der Bremsbeläge
muß das Vorderrad ausgebaut wer-
den, s. Abschn."Vorderrad". Da-nach
zuerst die beiden Bremsbeläge "B"
(Abb.29) möglichst weit ausei-
nanderdrücken. Den Splint"D"und den
Spannstift "C" (Abb.29) entfernen und
die Bremsbeläge herrausnehmen.
Beim Einbau der Beläge auf vor-
schriftsmäßige Sitz achten. Die Fun-
ktion der Vorder-radbremse bei einge-
bautem Rad kontrollieren - das Rad
muß sich leicht und frei drehen. Um
beste Brems-wirkung wu erzielen,
sollten neue Bremsbeläge vorsichtig
und ohne Gewaltbremsungen einge-
fahren werden.
ACHTUNG!
Die Flüssigkeit der Bremsen darf
für die Menschen und die Tiere ge-
fährlich sein. Bei Einnehmen ist sie
schädlich oder tödlich. Bei eventu-
eller Berührung mit den Haupt oder
mit den Augen ist die Flüssigkeit
sehr schädlich. Die Flüssigkeit ent-
fernt von Kindern halten. Bei Ein-
nehmen sofort den Artz holen und
den Abstoss verursachen. Den
Körperteil, der mit der Flüssigkeit
in Berührung gekommen ist, mit
Wasser reichlich waschen.
ACHTUNG!
Bei Verwendung von Flüssigkeit
für Bremsen verschieden von DOT
4 oder 5, die von nicht versiegelten
Behältern kommt, darf das Brems-
system mit möglichen Unfällen be-
schädigt werden.
Front brake
The motorcycle is equipped with disc
brakes at the front and rear for best
possible braking effort and optimum
reliability. However, it is important to
check the brake fluid level and brake
pads at regular intervals to ensure the
best possible performance of the
brakes. Proceed as follows:
1. Alwais check through the window
"A" (Fig. 28) that there is sufficent fluid
in the reservoir at the brake lever for
the front brake. Top up as necessary
(brake fluid: Dot 4 or 5).
2. To gain access to the brake pads,
first remove the front wheel as
described under the heading "Front
wheel". Then begin by separating the
brake pads "B" (Fig.29) as far apart as
possible. Remove the split "D", the pin
"C" (Fig.29 ) and remove the pads.
Fit new pads. Take care to fit the new
pads correctly. After fitting the wheel,
spin it and check the performance of
the brake. To achieve the best
possible brake performance, run the
pads in gently and carefully.
WARNING!
Liquid of brakes can be dangerous
for men and animals. It is very
harmful or mortal ones in case of
ingestion. It is very harmful in case
of contact with skin or with eyes.
Keep the brake oil far away from
children. Call a doctor immediately
in case of ingestion and provoke
vomiting.
Wash abundantly with water the
body part with which the brake oil
came in contact.
WARNING!
On using the brake oil other than
type DOT 4 or 5 from unsealed
containers may damage the
braking system leading to risk of
possible accidents.
nement optimal:
1. Vérifiez à l'indicateur "A" (Fig. 28)
du réservoir qui se trouve à côté du
levier du frein avant qu'il y a suf-
fisamment de fluide. Rétablissez le ni-
veau si besoin (fluide de frein: Dot 4 ou
5).
2. Pour accéder aux garnitures, il faut
déposer la roue avant, selon le
chapitre "Roue avant". Ecartez autant
que possible les garnitures "B"
(Fig.29) l'une de l'autre. Enlevez les
deux goupiles "D",le pivot "C" (Fig.29)
et déposez les garnitures. Posez des
garnitures neuves, en veillant à les
installer cor-rectement. Vérifiez le
fonctionnement du frein en faisant
tourner la roue. Pour la meilleure
force de freinage, il convient de roder
les garnitures avec la plus grande
prudence.
AVERTISSEMENT!
Le liquide de frein peut être dange-
reux pour les hommes et les ani-
maux. Il est nocif ou mortel en cas
d'ingestion. Il est nocif en cas de
contact avec la peau ou les yeux.
Tenir le liquide de frein hors de
portée des enfants. Appeler un mé-
decin immédiatement en cas d'in-
gestion, et provoquer un vomisse-
ment. Asperger les yeux ou la peau à
l'eau si du liquide de frein pénètre
dans les yeux ou touche la peau.
AVERTISSEMENT!
Si vous utilisez un produit autre que
du liquide de frein DOT 4/5 d'un
récipient cacheté, le système de
frenage peut être endommagé et il y
a des risques d'accident.
