Installation

The images shown are purely indicative. Their
purpose is to illustrate the main assembly steps for the
entire range.
IMPORTANT
: See the "Wiring Diagrams" paragraph
to check the 3 ventilation speeds.
IMPORTANT
If the unit does not have piping connected to the
suction point (free suction) and it is installed at a
height lower than 2.3 m, assembly of the protection
grille - suction side (fig.1) is required.
IMPORTANT
Use of the supplied brackets is optional.
Wiring diagrams
See Figure 13A.
Connection with the optional device upon request is
foreseen to check ventilation speeds (device not
supplied in packaging):
- 13A) Vortice 3-speed selector Code 12.869.
IMPORTANT
Vortice guarantees correct product operation and
control only when paired with the Vortice 3-speed
selector (Code 12.869).
Other types of connection
Alternatively, other connection diagrams are available,
associated to different control modes (devices
provided by the installer).
Connection alternative for new installation
- 13B) Pairing with 3-switch control;
- 13C) Pairing with Electronic dimmer.
Machine replacement on existing system
Connection without modifications to the electrical
system: the same switches as on the existing system
will be used.
CAuTION
: it will not be possible to
connect all 3 available speeds but only those for which
the electrical system is set up (to be chosen by the
installer):
- 13D) Speed connection: Minimum and Maximum;
- 13E) Speed connection: Medium and Maximum.
CAuTION
Correct operation of ERP 2018 is only guaranteed
when set in compliance with the connection diagram
13A).

of the barred waste bin. This
indicates that, at the end of its
useful life, it must not be disposed
of as domestic waste, but must be
taken to a collection centre for
waste electrical and electronic
equipment, or returned to a
retailer
on
purchase
of
a
replacement.
It is the user's responsibility to dispose of this
appliance through the appropriate channels at the end
of its useful life. Failure to do so may incur the
penalties established by laws governing waste
disposal.
Proper differential collection, and the subsequent
recycling, processing and environmentally compatible
disposal of waste equipment avoids unnecessary
damage to the environment and possible related
health risks, and also promotes recycling of the
materials used in the appliance.
For further information on waste collection and
disposal, contact your local waste disposal service, or
the shop from which you purchased the appliance.
Manufacturers and importers fulfil their responsibilities
for recycling, processing and environmentally
compatible disposal either directly or by participating
in collective systems.
