Installation of ventilation ducts and vents
- do not touch the motor when installing the ducts.
- Install the ventilation ducts so as to avoid the situations detailed in fig.5:
(1: excessive curvature; 2: close curvatures; 3: reduction of duct cross-section)
- the diameters of the ducts must be suitably sized: the nozzles typically can have three diameters: 80 100 or
150 mm (fig 6)
- install the ventilation ducts, covering them with
aluminium tape (not supplied) to prevent air leakage.
- install the ventilation ducts so as to maintain a slope
toward the outside to prevent water from entering.
- the ventilation ducts will have to be thermally
insulated.
- noise attenuators (optional) can be applied to ducts to
reduce noise emissions. (fig.7);
- do not install the stale air intake nozzle in bathrooms
or kitchens.
- Iinstall the stale air intake vent if possible in dining
rooms or bedrooms.
- install the stale air intake nozzle at least two metres
away from the inward air supply nozzles if possible.
