a) Remove handles from inside the tunnel. Remove the side panels, pull off the safety pin
and pull the handle out through the ends.
b) Undo eight (8) 10M hex bolts (3 bottom, 5 top) securing the shroud to the tunnel and
remove the shroud.
c)
Idler side
– Loosen the camera securing screw and unclip the camera and the
lights before removing shroud.
6. Loosen the tension spring for the conveyor belt at the idler-end of the conveyor.
Push in the conveyor idler to release the belt tension.
7. Put a weight on the belt to stop it from sagging into the base of the XR3D.
If the conveyor belt does not need replacement, you could leave it in place and slide a new
motor through the loosened belt.
a) To remove the Conveyor Belt, locate the belt seam and remove the nylon strip.
b) Carefully pull the conveyor belt through the scanner rollers, ensuring the belt does not
drop into the base.
8. Loosen and remove the four (4) nuts/locking washer/bolt sets to free one end (without the
cable) of the motor and then slide the other end out of its notched arm pulling the cable from
the scanner.
