On
request,
the
clock
can
be
extended
by
the
separately
available
DCF
module
(order
No.
2062)
for
automatic
radio
control
by
the
time
signal
transmitter
DCF77
(Long
‐
wave
Transmitter
Mainflingen
near
Frankfurt/M).
Reception
is
improved,
if
the
DCF
module
is
installed
in
the
upper
area
of
the
vehicle.
Thus,
an
effective
radius
of
approx.
1,000
km
is
possible.
Use
the
delivered
plug
‐
and
‐
go
cable
of
2
m
length
to
connect
the
module
to
the
clock.
The
polarity
of
the
3
‐
pole
connector
is
at
discretion.
A
marking
in
the
display
near
the
antenna
symbol
indicates
the
condition
of
the
DCF
reception.

Flashing
marking:
The
module
receives
the
time,
the
synchronisation
is
in
progress.

Lighting
symbol:
The
synchronisation
of
the
internal
clock
with
the
DCF
time
was
successful.
After
a
restart,
it
might
take
some
minutes
until
the
synchronisation
starts.
The
synchronisation
itself
might
also
take
some
minutes.
After
a
successful
synchronisation,
the
next
synchronisation
will
be
effected
at
the
beginning
of
the
following
hour.
In
case
of
bad
reception,
the
internal
crystal
‐
controlled
clock
will
continue
working
in
any
case
ensuring
that
the
correct
time
will
always
be
displayed.
