AV inPUtS, AV oUtPUtS
Audio/Video inputs
An external video source, video game
system, or other audio/video devices can
be connected to the AV input� This AV input
connection is normally performed when
the unit is installed� Turn the video source
component on with its power button or
remote control and it is now ready to play
the audio and video signals from the source
connected to the AV input�
Audio/Video output
The audio/video output will provide the
audio/video signal from the m1 unit� This
output connection is normally performed
when the unit is installed and is connected
to an AUX input on the vehicle radio� This
allows listening to audio from the m1
monitor on the vehicle radio�
HdMi (HdMi/MHl)
input located on the front of the unit
This input can be used for devices with HdmI
or mHL output ports (such as smartphones,
tablets, HdmI/mHL devices) and may
require the purchase of an HdmI cable
and HdmI adapter which is available from
your device manufacturer� each device has
unique requirements, please consult with
your device or smartphone manufacturer to
determine which type of output your device
supports�
note:
Some adapters can be powered
from the USB port on the front panel
of the unit. Powering the adapter will
charge the smartphone when using
the smartphone as a media source.
