Voice Scramble – For The Portable Handset Only
The purpose of the Digital Voice Scramble is to prevent other people from listening to your telephone conversation if they
accidentally pick your conversation from their cordless phone or if they have equipment for scanning radio signals.
Note #1:
The default setting for the Digital Voice Scramble feature is “Inactive”. If this feature is not ON during a
conversation and you want to turn it ON, press the
button and the Digital Voice Scramble feature will turn ON.
Because the internal programming for the Portable Handset is still set on “Inactive”, the Digital Voice Scramble feature
will automatically turn itself after the conversation.
Note #2:
If the Digital Voice Scramble feature is On but you feel current Scramble Code is no longer secure enough,
press the
button during your conversation and the phone will change the Scramble Code.
You can turn the Voice Scramble feature on by:
