Accounting Service
You can
Enable
or
Disable
Accounting Service here. Turning on
accounting causes the Controller to send a summary of
subscriber activity to the RADIUS server.
Interim Update Period
If you want to receive accounting records for subscribers that are
still logged in, you can set the period here. Otherwise RADIUS
provides an accounting record when the subscriber session ends.
Authentication Method
Select the Authentication Method for RADIUS from the drop down
list box here. The values of the drop down are PAP
or
CHAP. PAP
and CHAP are two security methods used by RADIUS. Please
consult your RADIUS Server documentation for details on which
method your Server requires.
Port Limit for Client Bandwidth
You can
Enable
or
Disable
Per-Subscriber based Bandwidth
Control. RADIUS accounts will receive a bandwidth limit based
on the Port-Limit RADIUS attribute in the Access Accept packet.
Please see your RADIUS server documentation on how to insert
this attribute into the Access Accept packet that your RADIUS
server sends to the Controller. Valid Port-Limit values are as
defined, or by default:
0 = Disable (No Limit)
1 = 16/16 Kbps
2 = 32/16 Kbps
3 = 64/16 Kbps
4 = 128/16 Kbps
5 = 256/32 Kbps
6 = 512/64 Kbps
7 = 1024/128 Kbps
8 = 2048/256 Kbps
9 = 3072/384 Kbps
10 = 4096/512 Kbps
11 = 5120/640 Kbps
12 = 6144/768 Kbps
