FLOW-meter Version: 1.0

FUEL Tank Size
Volume off the main tank in ml.
Pulses/1000ml
Parameter for adapting the FLOW-meter electronics to the respective flow sensor (s. section
2.0.3 Calibration).
FUEL display
Here you can choose whether FUEL and FUEL% should display the increasing fuel
consumption (consumed) or the falling tank content (level).
FUEL rounded
The display accuracy of FUEL (ml) can be set here.
Rounding the display makes sense, when using speech to reduce the announcement syllables.
Auto Reset
With Auto Reset = Power ON, the consumption / tank display is reset to 0 ml (FUEL display =
consumed) or FUEL Tank Size (FUEL display = level) each time the receiving system is
switched on.
With Auto Reset = OFF the last value is stored and is available again after the receiver is
switched on again until a reset at the servo input (> 80%), or in the JetiBox, when displaying
data by simultaneously pressing the Left- AND Right-button for a long time.
Alarme
Irrespective of the possibility to program alarm thresholds for the "EX" values in Jeti
transmitters the FLOW-meter has the ability to set alarms (by using alarm codes). These alarms
can also be announced by the Profibox as voice messages.
As can be seen in the table, the alarms for Reserve and FlowMIN can be switched OFF.
Permanently pending alarms max. 3 times repeated.
Reserve
The alarm Reserve is signaled when the FUEL display = consumed and when [FUEL Tank
Size - Reserve] is exceeded…. or if the fuel gauge falls below (FUEL display = level).
FlowMIN
The FlowMIN alarm is signaled when the current fuel flow set under FlowMIN is undershot.
This alarm can therefore be used to detect turbine OFF.
The turbine OFF monitoring is started after the value set in FlowMIN has been exceeded for
the first time
FLOW-meter EX sensor name
In a 2-turbine model 2 VSpeak-FLOW-meter can be used on Jeti Systems via an expander or
CentralBox. The EX names are:
"
1L
FLOW " for
L
eft
FLOW-meter on input
1
and
"
2R
FLOW " for
R
ight FLOW-meter at the expander input
