Setting up the Phone

otating the tab of the cradle
The phone is delivered with the tab level with the inner edge of the cradle (Fig. 1). If you are going to mount
the phone on a wall, we recommend that you rotate the tab 180° around its vertical axis. After rotation, the tip
of the tab (Fig. 4) will protrude slightly above the edge of the cradle. The small rectangular hole in the receiver
casing (Fig. 5) fits perfectly over the now protruding tip, holding the receiver safely in place in the upright
position on the wall.

Slide the plastic tab from the cradle (Fig. 2)

Rotate the tab 180°.

Slide the tab back into the cradle (Fig. 3).

To mount the ET605 on a wall or on a US standard ethernet wall plate (4" center), you will need the ET605 wall
mount bracket. It is available as a separate accessory. For the wall mounting instructions, see "Appendix 3 - Wall
