Status
: These pages perform no actions and accept no entries. It provides operational status and
information only. The Index page is an example of a status page.
Entry:
These pages display and accept changes to the configuration of the instrument. The
Network Configuration
page is an example of an entry page. Use of the entry-type web pages in
the EMX-2500 are governed by a common set of operational characteristics:
•
Pages initially load with the currently-entered selections displayed.
•
Each page contains a Submit button to accept newly entered changes. Leaving a
page before submitting any changes has the effect of canceling the changes,
leaving the instrument in its original state.
•
Navigation through a parameter screen is done with the Tab key. The Enter key
has the same function as clicking the Submit button and cannot be used for
navigation.

When accessing a page that allows changing configuration parameters of the EMX-2500, a
password may be required. If so, the Login page will appear.

To log in, simply enter the password in the given text field, and press the Submit button. By
default, the EMX-2500 has no password. To change the password, visit the Change Password
page. If the password is unknown, performing a network reset operation will reset the EMX-2500
to no password.
