LAN Event Trigger
: LAN Event triggers can be sourced from any of the eight TTL triggers
on the backplane as well as from software commands. The trigger may be routed to any
hardware trigger. LAN Event triggers are rate-limited to 1 ms (1 kHz) and are only generated
by falling TTL edges.

Destination
: the destination trigger to which the
Source
is routed.
o
Source
: the external trigger which is routed to the
Destination
.
o
Destination Path
: specifies the network host names to which LAN Events will be routed.
The format of this field should be a comma-separated list of “hostname:port”. The default
is to send multicast UDP packets on the default LAN Event. See LAN Event Trigger
Controls for more information.
o
Output
: enables the sending of messages. If the destination path contains any TCP
destinations, they are connected after Enable is selected and
Submit
is clicked. TCP
connection are closed once Enable is de-selected and Submit is clicked.
