3.2. Sectional units CV-P1 and CV-P2 (400V)
Blocks of sectional units are manufactured with the same technology as blocks of compact units (fot. 3). CV-P unit, depending on the type of air treatment process that
is realized, consists of separate functional sections. Each section is marked by means of graphic symbols of functions placed on the inspection panel. Blocks of units are
adapted to realize air treatment processes in following sections:
Air flow, in CV-P1 unit, is forced by double-sided sucking centrifugal drum fan, which is driven by the belt transmission with the tri-phase electric motor having the power
supply voltage 400V. Two fans, which have impellers set on one shaft, and which are driven by the belt transmission with one electric motor, were used in the fan-section
of the CV-P2 unit.
3.3. Side of execution
Suspended units are manufactured in right and left execution (fot. 4). Side of execution is determined by the position of exchangers stub pipes in relation to the direction
of air flow. In case of units with cross-flow exchanger the direction of the air flow in the intake part decides about the side of execution.
4. Delivery, transportation, storage
Units are delivered to the place of installation in the form of separate blocks. Each block of compact units and additional sections of suppression and damper together with
elastic connections for every type of CV-P are packed in separate cartons, whereas blocks of sectional units are protected for the time of transportation with foil and distance
corners made of foamed polystyrene. Unloading from the mean of transport and the transportation on the building site should be done manually, using pallet-truck or forklift.
During transportation of block of units one should pay special attention to lift and lower them gently. It is not acceptable to transport and store the fan-section of CV-P1 and
CV-P2 units placing them on one of side walls of the casing. It may cause the damage of driving system of the fan. It is recommended to transport the fan-section on the
wall, which is opposite to inspection panels.
Directly after the delivery of devices one should check the state of package and verify if all parts are present checking enclosed specifications and waybills.
Any damages resulting from wrong way of transportation and storage are not covered by the guarantee and claims in this matter should be directed to forwarding agent.
Devices should be stored in rooms where:
• maximal relative humidity of air does not exceed 80% at the temperature of 20°C
• temperature of surrounding varies in the range from -20°C to +30°C
• dust, gases and caustic vapours, chemical substances, which have corroding influence on the elements of construction and components of units should not have access
to devices
5. Installation
In standard system CV-P units are installed in horizontal suspended position (position S) or horizontal lying (position N) on the ground. For some functional units there is
also a possibility of installation in vertical position on the wall.
Remark!
The work of CV-P1 and CV-P2 units installed horizontally on the wall (by side - parallel to the ceiling) is forbidden (fot. 5). It is very important to place power supply and
drainage stub pipes of exchangers in the horizontal position. This remark does not concern units CV-P1-V, CV-P1-HE.
5.1. Installation in suspended position S
Installation of units in ventilating air ducting is done using handles for
connection and suspending units, which are mounted on sides of every
unit. Use of threaded rods M8 enables easy and quick suspension and
leveling of following sections of the unit (threaded rods M8 are not
elements of delivery). Self-adhesive seal should be placed in the place of
contact of the unit before the unit is assembled. The seal and screws used
for connecting the unit are delivered in separate package, which is placed
in the fan-section (fot. 6).
