5.4.8 Cleaning the Inlet filter
a) Switch the system to Standby mode, Tap the dispense button
on the dispenser to dispense
water. Gas inside the system will be released out of the system. Close the Inlet Valve.
b) Remove the system right side panel.
c) Turn the lever on the cartridge adapter to right to the unlock position, pull the cartridge
downwards to disengage the cartridge from its adapter. Remove all the cartridges.
d) Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the 5 screws on the white back panel.

Find the inlet filters shown as the red circle in the left side picture below, remove the blue
buckles shown as the yellow circle in the right side picture below.
Note
: The direction of inlet filter are shown as the red arrow.
f) Remove the inlet filter and screw out the cap in the red circle below.
g) Clean the Strainer in the red circle below by tap water, then reinstall the strainer back
into the inlet filter, and reinstall the inlet filter back into the Genie main system.
Note
: Please confirm the inlet filter needs to be placed in the right direction.
