3. Firmly grasp and pull the recoil handle slowly until you feel increased resistance. At
this point, apply a rapid pull while pulling out from the inverter (see Figure 8).
4. As the engine starts, slowly turn the choke switch back in to the RUN position (see
Figure 9).
5. Plug in electronic devices.
Stopping the inverter
Normal Operation
During normal operation, use the following steps to stop your inverter:
1. Remove any connected loads from the control panel receptacles.
2. Allow the inverter to run at “no load” to reduce and stabilize engine and alternator
temperatures.
