2.

Attach the templates to the door so that the door centre is precisely aligned with

the door centre on the template as indicated here.
Make sure there are no interfering objects on the door’s inside.

3.a

– Use a 5 mm HSS drill to pre-drill the six holes and then enlarge these with a

12.5 mm HSS drill.

– Then deburr all sharp edges.

– Next, remove the template again.

3.b

For insulated doors only:

Re-drill the six holes from the door’s inside towards the outside up to the outer layer of sheet metal. The holes must

not be drilled through to the outside.
The drilling dimension corresponds to the spacer tube diameter (approx. 27 mm).

Adjust the length of the spacer tubes to the dimension of the door thickness including the insulating layer.

– Insert the spacer tubes into the re-drilled holes.

4.

– Insert the respective door lock parts with the threaded rods through the holes of the corresponding door.

5.

– Place the mounting plates over the threaded rods from the door’s inside.

6.

Place one washer and one nut respectively onto each threaded rod and firmly tighten the nuts.

7.

Shorten any protruding threaded rods to prevent injuries.

8.

For locking, use an Mul-T-Lock Padlock C13 13 mm (183 100 001 4).

– Insert the shackle of the padlock through the door lock from the top and lock the

door lock with the padlock’s locking piece.

The VdS certificate is only valid if the Mul-T-Lock Padlock is used and

becomes invalid when the door lock TLB is fitted inappropriately.

Maintenance and care

NOTE

Damage of locking / interior mechanism

Teflon clogs the locking mechanism. The graphite could also leave small particles behind that can block the springs inside the

padlock

Never use Teflon, graphite or WD-40 for lubrication.

Mechanical parts: no maintenance or care required. Damage to the paintwork must be repaired as quickly as

possible.

If the door is used in road traffic, special care is extremely important. We recommend cleaning the entire lock thoroughly on the

inside and outside and applying proper care at least once a month.
For care of the supplied Mul-T-Lock Padlock, drip three to four drops of light oil into the keyhole. Lightly oil the key as well. Insert

the key into the keyhole and turn 4 to 5 times.
Suitable oil types: Sewing machine oil, gun oil, low-viscosity synthetic engine oil.
