12. 4-spur center order no. 24486
12.1 Operation
The 4-spur center transfers the torque of the drive unit to the workpiece between the two centers while
turning.
The 4-spur center may only be used for clockwise rotation!
To clamp a workpiece, proceed as follows:
1. Determine the center at both ends of the workpiece to be clamped and mark it.
2. Clamp the 4-spur center in the drive unit.
3. Secure the workpiece between the 4-spur center and the tailstock center. For this purpose, turn the tailstock
center on the spindle clockwise so that the centers of the 4-spur center and the tailstock center press into the
wood.
