EXPLOITATION
Please also read the safety instructions before using the permanent magnet gripper.
3.1 Before starting work, make sure that the workpiece surface is clean. Contamination such as
rust or burrs must be removed. The contact surfaces must be even and must not have holes or cracks.
The contact surface of the magnetic gripper must also be clean and intact. The centerline of the gripper
should coincide with the centerline of the workpiece. The grapple should be attached as close as
possible to the center of gravity of the load to keep it level.
Place the magnetic gripper on the
surface of the workpiece to be picked up (the contact surface of the gripper must be in full contact
with the workpiece) and turn the lever from the release position (OFF) to the hold position (ON) until
the inner slider key passes through the stop pin and the gripper is secured. Make sure that the lever
safety lock is automatically locked and start lifting.
Attention!
As the length or width of the load increases, the load deviates from the plane as it is lifted into
the air and the edges begin to drop. Dropping of the load can create an air gap between the load and
the magnet. This peeling effect greatly reduces the magnet's lifting capacity. In the case of lifting plates
when falling, rectangular magnets should be placed so that the length of the magnet is parallel to the
width of the load.
3.2 Do not overload the machine during lifting and carrying operations. Never allow anyone to
be under a suspended load, even for a short time. Never walk under the load and make sure that no
part of your body comes into contact with the suspended detail. The temperature of the lifted loads
and working environment must be between -40°C and +80°C. Strong vibrations or shocks are not
allowed. Make sure that the load will not swing or collide with anything during operation. The grapple
can only lift one load at a time.
3.3 When handling a cylindrical workpiece, keep the workpiece in contact with the gripper's V-
shaped slot lines. The lifting capacity on a cylindrical iron workpiece is generally only 30% of the rated
lifting capacity for sheet metal.
3.4 After the lifting or carrying operation is completed and the load is safely on a stable surface,
release the lever safety lock to disengage the slider key from the stop pin by pressing the button on the
end of the lever and rotate the lever from the hold (ON) position to the released (OFF) position .) so
that the load is released. The gripper is now in free mode and can be removed from the part.
