6.
MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY
6.1 Please read the manual and the characteristics of the gripper carefully before working to avoid
accidents. If more information is required, please contact the manufacturer.
6.2 Check the condition of the gripper before each use. A defective one must never be used product.
When using the permanent magnet gripper or otherwise handling it, avoid dropping the device and
damaging its lifting surface. Do not subject the gripper to impact. Damage affects the performance and
service life of the product. After use, it is recommended to protect the holding surface of the gripper
with anti-corrosion oil.
6.3 Do not place the long side of the magnet parallel to the length of the load (effect peeling off).
6.4 Regularly check the condition of the lever button. Make sure the safety lock moves freely and locks
securely.
6.5 It is forbidden to rotate the gripper lever without contact of the iron detail with the bottom /
gripper contact surface.
6.6 Maintenance should only be carried out by authorized technical personnel i strictly according to the
instructions.
6.7 The actual lifting capacity of the grapple should be checked once a year. Also check safety of all
parts of the device to ensure the normal working condition of the device.
6.8 The products and their markings may not be altered in any way so as not to endanger tchem safety.
6.9 If the main body, rotating parts or lever of the device are damaged in such a way that they do not
function properly, the device must be disposed of.
6.10 Do not use the device near medical devices (such as pacemakers), as the gripper's magnetic field
may affect the operation of these devices. Never use the gripper near strong electromagnetic fields or
in potentially explosive areas. Never use the grab to lift or transport people and never leave a lifted
load unattended.
6.11 The product should be kept clean and stored in a safe place, protecting it from corrosion.
