LIMIT SWITCH STATES
Refer to
Figure 3-4
. The limit switch actuation chart shows the state of all limit switches as the platform travels
from stowed, to vehicle floor level, and then to ground level. The solid line segments (
▬
) represent current flow
through the normally CLOSED switch contacts, and the open line segments (
═
) represent current flow through the
normally OPEN switch contacts. The heavy dashed lines (
∎ ∎ ∎
) show switch states when platform is beyond
normal travel boundaries. This is useful in showing the operation of switches that change states at stowed or
ground level positions. For proper operation of lift, the switch actuations must overlap as shown.
