Add the extension
to the valve key if
necessary.

Adjust the telescoping valve key to the length needed
for the depth of the valve.
Figure 3-6. Hold in the locking pin on the telescoping
valve key and pull the key out to the desired length.
Make sure to set the pin through one of the adjustment
holes.

Put the valve key down into the valve vault, and insert
the top of the key into the valve key adapter. Position
the socket end of the key on the valve nut.

When you perform the valve operation, you can operate the
ERV-750 only in controller mode (without logging valve
data), or you can use the Vitals data logging program to
record valve operating information.
1.
Start the engine and set the throttle to operating speed.
NOTE
Make sure the con-
troller is connected
to the ERV arm before pow-
ering up the control box.
2.
Press the switch on the ERV-750 control box to the
ON position. The power indicator will light.
