Operational safety
• Damaged battery chargers may not be used.
• In case of malfunctions, disconnect the battery charger immediately
from the power source.
• Only charge batteries permitted by the manufacturer.
• Damaged batteries may not be recharged.
• The battery charger’s plug must fit in the plug receptacle. The plug
may not be changed in any way. Do not use the adapter plug to-
gether with grounded machines.
• Avoid any contact with grounded surfaces.

General information

Fire hazard!
The use of battery chargers in a flammable environment or near open
flames may result in a fire.

Do not operate the battery charger on easily flammable surfaces
(e.g. paper, textiles) or in a flammable environment.
• Check the battery charger, cable and plug prior to every use and
clean with a dry and clean cloth.
• Do not use the cable for carrying or suspending the machine. Do not
pull the cable in order to pull the plug out of the receptacle.
• Do not use the battery charger if damage has been found. Do not
open the battery charger yourself, but rather only have it repaired by
qualified technically trained personnel who are using original spare
parts.
• Only charge batteries permitted by the manufacturer.
• The battery charger’s plug must fit in the plug receptacle. The plug
may not be changed in any way. Do not use any adapters, since
these are usually designed without a grounded conductor terminal.
• Avoid any physical contact with grounded surfaces (e.g. pipes,
heaters).
• Once the charge cycle is completed, disconnect the rechargeable
battery from the charger.
• Keep battery charger away from children.
• Dispose of battery charger properly.
