Check the coolant level and top off coolant
Check the coolant level in the coolant reservoir
1. Open the front protective hood.
2. Remove dirt accumulation in the area of the coolant reservoir.
3. The coolant expansion tank should be filled 1/4 to 1/2 in a cold state.
Top off coolant in the coolant reservoir
1. Unscrew and remove cover of the coolant reservoir.
2. If necessary, top off the coolant until the coolant expansion tank is filled 1/3 – for the coolant
specification, see the
Technical Data
chapter.
3. Replace cover of the coolant reservoir and tighten.
Check the coolant level in the radiator
1. Remove dirt accumulation in the area of the radiator cover.
2. Slowly unscrew the radiator cap and remove.
3. Check whether the coolant reaches the upper edge of the filler opening.
Top off coolant in the radiator
1. If necessary, top off the coolant to the upper edge of the filler opening – for the coolant specification,
see the
Technical Data
chapter.
2. Replace radiator cap and tighten.

WARNING
The cooling system is under pressure.
Hot coolant can spurt out and cause injury from scalding.
Only open the cover of the radiator after the engine has cooled down.
NOTICE
If the machine is losing coolant, check the cooling system for leaks, and have the machine
repaired by the service of the Wacker Neusoncontact person.
