Bleeding the fuel system
Bleed the fuel system in the following cases:
• After removing and fitting the fuel filter, prefilter or the fuel lines back
on again.
• If the vehicle is put into operation after having been out of operation for
more than 30 days.
Bleed:
1. Raise the control lever base.
2. Remove the starting key and carry it with you.
3. Fill up and close the fuel tank.
4. Turn the starting key to the first position.
5. Wait about 5 minutes while the fuel system bleeds itself automatically.
6. Start the engine.
If the engine runs smoothly for a while and then stops, or if it does not run
smoothly:
1. Stop the engine.
2. Raise the control lever base.
3. Remove the starting key and carry it with you.
4. Bleed the fuel system again as described above.
5. Check for leaks after starting the engine.
6. Have a Wacker Neuson service center perform a check if necessary.
Information
The fuel system can be bled automatically even if the engine is at
operating temperature.
