Tying down the machine
Tie down as follows
1. Secure all tires of the machine with chocks in front of and behind each
wheel.
2. Firmly tie down the machine at the eye hooks (symbol
A
)
– see chapter 3 “Machine outside view” on page 3-1
– with ratchet
straps or chains of sufficient size onto the platform.

Do not place cables, belts, etc. over sharp-edged objects.
➥
Use only tested ropes, belts, hooks, shackles (with screw and
socket pins with lockable frames) for tying down the machine.
3. Before moving off, ensure that the operator of the transport vehicle
knows the overall height, width and weight
(including the loaded machine) and the legal transport regulations of
the country or countries in which transport will take place!
