time (standard is 20 min.), otherwise continue with chapter “Filling
process” on page 43.

NOTE
The waiting time ensures that any remaining refrigerant can evaporate
and then be extracted. The evaporating residual refrigerant triggers an
increase in pressure.

NOTE
The air conditioning system is deeply drained by the vacuum pump.
This is used to remove any foreign gases or moisture and to prepare the
air conditioning system for the filling process. Any residual refrigerant
extracted which is still bonded in the refrigerant oil is collected by the
AirConServiceCenter and recycled.
