Notes on using the manual
Please read this manual carefully before starting up and store it in a safe place. If
the appliance is handed over to another person, this operating manual must be
handed over along with it.

Safety instructions
2.1
General safety
z
Only connect the device as follows:
–
Using a suitable connecting cable to the cigarette lighter in the vehicle
z
Never pull the plug out of the cigarette lighter by the cable.
z
If the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced to prevent possible electrical
hazards.
z
Do not operate the appliance if it is visibly damaged.
z
This appliance may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Inadequate repairs can
lead to considerable hazards.
z
Disconnect the connection cable:

Before cleaning and maintenance

After use
z
Ensure that the ventilation slots are not covered.

Operating the appliance safely

Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line and the plug are dry.
z
Never start the device when your hands are wet.
z
Only operate the device when you or another person can attend to it.
z
Do not operate the device on hot surfaces.
z
Never place the device near naked flames.
z
Do not fill the liquid which you wish to cool
directly
into the device. Instead, put the
vessel containing the drink in in the appliance.
z
Never immerse the device in water.
z
Protect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.
z
