Using the PowerPack PC100

Note that in air pumping operation the pressure gauge is not con-
nected.
When releasing air, pay special attention to safety or comfort
valves which close automatically without external pressure.
This is achieved by a small plate that is pressed against the valve
base by the internal pressure. Thus air cannot escape when the
valve cap is opened.
Use the long, thinnest adapter with these valves and slide it into the
valve far enough that it pushes the plate in the valve to the side.
This releases the air.
After 15 minutes of continuous air pumping operation, switch the
device off for 15 minutes.
Otherwise the device may overheat and become damaged.

Using the PowerPack PC100 as a 12 V power
source
If you wish to use the PowerPack PC100 as a 12 V power source, observe
the following points:
z
Never exceed the maximum current load of 15 A.
z
If there is an overload, the built-in fuse will blow.
Replace the fuse only with one of equal rating (replacement included in
the delivery contents).
z
Ensure that the fuse is firmly inserted and makes contact. If there is poor
contact, the connected device will
not
function properly. The plug and
socket may also heat up.
➤
Insert the 12 V plug of the device to be connected into the 12 V socket of
the PowerCompressors Plus labelled OUTPUT DC 12 V (see Fig. 3.3,
page 3).
