ASSEMBLY
• Carefully remove your BAMBOO and its accessories from the box.
• Remove the solar module from the lamp unit.
• Pull the orange-marked foil strip out of your BAMBOO.
Your BAMBOO is now ready for operation.
• Plug the upright poles together in accordance with the desired height.
WARNING! Contact with hidden lines can lead to severe injury or even
death! Please ensure while digging and boring holes that you do not hit
any hidden lines.
• Attach the lamp unit to the upright pole.
• Drive the ground spike into the ground.
ATTENTION! Do not press on the surface of BAMBOO because this can
damage the solar module.
ERECTION
Select a location for erection with as much exposure to solar radiation as
possible and put BAMBOO into the ground. Do not erect BAMBOO in the
shade of trees, bushes or buildings, otherwise the charging effect of your
BAMBOO will be diminished.
POWER
The power of your BAMBOO depends on the time of year. BAMBOO is ready
for operation longer in summer than in winter.
How long BAMBOO shines at night depends on how long BAMBOO was
exposed to direct solar radiation during the day. For example, when the sky is
overcast, less solar energy is available to charge the rechargeable battery.
During the following night, the duration of emission of light of BAMBOO is
therefore shorter.
The duration of emission of light is strongly limited on winter days due to lower
exposure to solar radiation.
NOTE: Clean the solar module regularly with a damp towel to guarantee
optimum performance of the solar collectors. Do not use any solvents for
cleaning. Do not exert any pressure on the solar module during cleaning
