Example: Set up a Connection between 2 WSAs
This example shows the establishment of a
Bluetooth
®
connection between two
WSAs using AT commands.
1.
Log into the command interface of the second WSA.
2.
Execute the following AT commands to determine which device the
outbound connection should be established to:
AT CON TAR ADR = <MAC ID of the 1st WSAs>
If you also want secure authentication:

Execute the following AT command on both WSAs to add the other WSA
to the list of allowed devices:
AT BTSEC ADEV ADD = <MAC ID of the other WSA>
4.
Execute the following command for one of the WSAs to force secure
authentication:
AT BTSEC AUTH = 1
The connection is now set up, but not yet established. To manually establish the
connection, see Section “Example: Establish a Connection between 2 WSAs”.
7.2
Use Established Connection on the PC
Depending on the application, you can now open the program you want to use to
access the WSA. To access the WSA from the program, set the COM port in the
program that you use for your
Bluetooth
®
connection. The following example
shows the procedure using HTerm and WAGO-I/O-
CHECK
.

Example: Set up a Configuration Connection using HTerm
HTerm is used below to configure the WSA.
1.
Launch HTerm.
2.
In the
Port
selection list, choose the COM port specified for connection
with the WSA's SPP “CONFIG” service.
