Numerical format
The digitized measured value is stored in a data word (16 bit) as an input byte
0 (high) and as an input byte 1 (low). The value with a 12 bit resolution is il-
lustrated on bit B3 ... B14. The three low value bits (B0 ... B2) are only used in
the event of an error.
Some fieldbus systems process status information to the input channel using a
status byte
