PIN input!
Enter the PIN of the SIM card inserted before any other AT commands. Use the
AT command AT+CPIN. Until a PIN is entered, the response to most AT
commands will be ERROR.
The
TO-PASS
®
modem GRPS RS-232 is controlled by AT commands.
The AT commands are sent to the
TO-PASS
®
modem GRPS RS-232 by the
connected application or by manual input via a terminal program.

Working with a Terminal Program
To control the device with AT commands, use a terminal program, e.g.,
HyperTerminal included in Windows Accessories.
Pay attention to the following settings:

PIN in Terminal Mode
Entering the PIN
If LED S blinks slowly (once per second), the
TO-PASS
®
modem GRPS RS-232
is waiting for the PIN to be entered.
In Terminal mode, use the AT command
AT+CPIN
to enter the PIN.
