Explanation of symbols and notes
The following symbols and signal words are used in this operating
manual, on the appliance or on the packaging.
PROHIBITED
This symbol prohibits the use of the appliance near bathtubs,
showers, washbasins and other water-filled containers.

The appliance is safety insulated and radio screened. It meets the

Check that the contents are complete.

Check all the parts for possible transport damage.
Safety
Caution! Damage due to incorrect power supply.

Only operate the curling tong with the voltage stated on
the nameplate.
Operation
1. Unfold the base stand and place the curling tong on a flat, smooth,
non-heat-sensitive surface.
2. Insert the mains plug into the socket.
3. Switch on the curling tong using the on/off switch (Fig. 2).
4. Select the desired temperature (80 °C – 210 °C).

To increase the temperature, press the
p
button.

To reduce the temperature, press the
q
button.
·
The preset temperature is 180 °C.
·
Tapping can adjust the temperature in 5°C steps. To
adjust the temperature more quickly, hold down the
appropriate button.

The LCD display flashes three times when the tempera-
ture is set. Once the set operating temperature has been
reached, the LCD display shows the temperature.
5. After using the curling tong, switch them off using the on/off
switch (Fig. 2). The LCD display goes out.
6. Disconnect from the mains.
7. Allow the curling tong to cool down.
