Understanding the hard and soft limits
WARNING! There must be at least 2 rounds left on the drum when the winch is adjusted for
the soft BOTTOM limit. Also make sure the load may not cause injury to any obstacles in the
moving range.
CAUTION! Be careful that the hard TOP limit is not set in a position where the load can run
into the winch itself, this will damage the winch.
For guidance see below illustration of the soft and hard limits.
