SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Note
: The outside outlet is a distribution outlet that can be used indoors
and outdoors. Only use the outside outlet in a household or similar
environment. Use on construction sites is prohibited.
• Children 8 years of age and older, mentally, sensory and physically
impaired persons may only use the appliance if they have been thoroughly
familiarised with its functions and safety precautions by a supervisor
responsible for them and understand the associated risks.
• The external socket must only be connected to earthed sockets.
• The outside socket outlet is only protected against splashing water. Do not
install it in places where it can get wet (e.g. in depressions or coolers).
• Leave at least 2 meters of space between the outer socket and the water
containers.
• Only insert plugs into the outer socket that meet the IP44 protection class
requirements.
•
Before moving the outer socket, first disconnect it from the mains supply.
• The outer socket must only be used in an upright position. If the outer
socket should tip over or stand at an angle, check that no water has
penetrated before use. It may only be used when the outer socket is
upright and no water has penetrated.
• If the outer socket housing is damaged, it no longer meets IP44
requirements and must not be used.
Note
: Never exceed the maximum permissible load of the outer socket.
Overloading can lead to damage or a total failure!
