Setting light level
The light level set ex works can be
adjusted to the personal require-
ments of the user at any time.
To set the light level, proceed as
described in chapter Operation.
Light control
The light intensity at the workplace
is detected by the PIR sensor [31.1]
or the HFMD sensor [31.2] and
compared to the light level set.
If the set light intensity is excee-
ded, the brightness will either
be reduced or the light will be
switched off.
If the light intensity drops below
the set light level, the brightness
will be increased until the set value
is reached.
Sensor keys
Lights provided with sensors (e.g.
DUS 440
/R
) have additional keys
on the sensor plate at the light
head.
These keys are not required for
operating the light, since all func-
tions can be operated via the keys
on the column.
