Lower the feed hopper down into its working configuration:
- Remove the nuts on the hopper anchor bolts,
- Unpin and the feeder hopper latch
- Carefully lower the hopper and secure it with the with
the nuts on the anchor bolts.

6.4 Machine Set-Up
Follow this procedure to prepare and set-up the machine at the
work site:
1.
Use the tow unit to position the Wood Chipper at the work
site.
2.
The chipper can be used as a stand alone, or if you require
more stability leave your chipper attached to the tow
vehicle.

Check the battery cable and if required connect the
cable and tighten fastener securely to ensure a good
connection.

IMPORTANT! Position the machine so the prevailing wind/
breeze blows the exhaust gases/fumes away from the
operator's station.
